Inspiration and Form development
Since the Art Ichol had an artistic campus and architecture, I looked for inspiration within Art Ichol to make the range more relatable and connected to it. Inspirations were drawn from Lotus. flower and its. blooming patterns and antique traditional vessels/utensils.

Prints
For prints I drew an inspiration from Gond Art. When I visited the surrounding villages in search of inspiration I found the disappearing wall arts on old village houses and that motivated me to use gond art. And introduce it to young generations through kitchen ware.

Ceramic Indian Platter-Thali
All the ceramic plates available in the market are made considering western cuisine standers and are not comfortable for Indian cuisine.
Thali Platter allows user the comfort of deciding the size and shape of the attaching bowls or plates. This platter is also suitable for western dishes such as salad, sandwiches and burger meals. It can also be used to serve break time snack and party food.

Material Exploration
This particular experiment was undertaken to find the potential of locally found primary clay for the production of ceramics. The clays that have been used to make these plates are sourced locally from the stone mines of Maihar. The experiment gave an idea about the physical as well as chemical properties of the clay.
